Vega Star Gold is available in several versions. Connections up to 768 kbps over ISDN BRI and 2 Mbps over IP; Connections up to 2 Mbps over ISDN PPRI and IP; and for connections up to 2 Mbps over leased lines (X21, V35, RS449, G703).

The integrated MCU (Multipoint Conferencing Unit) is multi-standard (IP, ISDN and IP+ISDN), permitting multiple simultaneous connections between ISDN and IP networks. The MCU supports Continuous Presence, allowing users to see participants at all other sites simultaneously (up to 7 sites, at 128 kbps).
